We're looking for a talented Software Engineer to build and scale our two-sided marketplace platform. You'll work on challenging problems—from matching algorithms to payment systems—in a modern tech stack where your code directly impacts contractor livelihoods and homeowner experiences.

‍What You'll Do:

‍Design, develop, and ship features for our web and mobile marketplace platform
Build core functionality: project matching, messaging, payments, reviews, and analytics
Develop scalable APIs and database architecture to support rapid user growth
Optimize platform performance, speed, and reliability as we scale
Implement analytics and tracking to measure feature adoption and user behavior
Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams on roadmap priorities
Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
Help establish engineering best practices and culture as an early team member

‍What We're Looking For:

‍2+ years of full-stack or backend software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in modern web technologies (React, Node.js, TypeScript, or similar)
Experience building APIs and working with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Understanding of SaaS architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience with payment systems, authentication, and data security
Self-starter who thrives in early-stage environments and can own projects end-to-end
Bonus: Experience with marketplace platforms, two-sided networks, or matching algorithms
